The easiest — and often, most inexpensive — way to transform a bathroom, kitchen, or piece of furniture is to simply change the hardware. I struggled with picking knobs and pulls when we were renovating because there are so many options at SO many price points. Today, I’m going to share the various knobs and pulls we picked for our house with shoppable links.
And, I promise to update this post once I finish the ugly bathroom update. I just ordered these super affordable Link Knobs and Link Pulls in Matte Black from CB2 and I think they’re going to look great in the room.

Kitchen: Buster + Punch Pulls and Knobs
IMHO, Buster + Punch (@busterandpunch) makes some of the most interesting hardware out there. I searched and searched for the right hardware for our kitchen and then I found their Instagram page. I love everything about this hardware: the cool backplates, the visible screws, the knurled metal on the handles. And, they come in a variety of colors and more styles, so even if matte black isn’t your thing, check them out. These are pricer than the other hardware we chose for the house, but we felt that they made a big enough impact that they were worth the splurge. You will not be disappointed.
In our kitchen, we used the pull bar (with and without backplates depending on where the hardware was in the kitchen) and the knobs with backplates. We also varied the size of the pulls based on the size of the door or width of the cabinet.

Master Bathroom and Closet: Canfield Knobs and Pulls
I believe that Amy from Amy Hirsch Design (@@amyhirsch_design) found this hardware for our master bathroom and closet. We were considering other hardware but really wanted to pull back on price here, so we came to these much more affordable Canfield knobs and pulls in chrome, available at Rejuvenation. I love that the hex shape is a subtle but cohesive nod to the hex design of the floor tiles. I also love that the pull comes in a variety of sizes so worked for drawer pulls AND closet handles. Such a great, relatively affordable buy.

Laundry Room: Tolson Knobs
Amy Hirsch also picked out these great Tolson pulls in oil rubbed bronze for our laundry room. I love that they’re a little industrial, which is fitting in a laundry room, but are also timeless:

Jack and Jill Bathroom, Duluth Knobs and Pulls
My son’s bedroom shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with our guest room. It has a similar aesthetic to our master: hex tiles on the floor — except simpler and in Carrera marble instead of Calacatta — and white shaker cabinets. However, it is a bit more masculine/industrial, and the hardware follows that theme. For this room, Amy picked the Duluth knobs and pulls from Restoration Hardware. I like that they have that industrial edge but are still sleek and sophisticated. Also, the price is so great these: the largest pull (8″ width) is $15.

Master Bedroom: MadeMeasure Leather Pulls
I’m totally in love with these leather handles and tab pull that I found on Pinterest, made by MadeMeasure. This was another place where more expensive handles were picked for us but we needed to spend less money. These are just so pretty, and go so well with out neutral bedroom that’s short on color but full of interesting texture.
Daughter’s Bathroom: Pulp Design Studio and Rejuvenation
A posted all about the renovation of my daughter’s bathroom with full source info here, but wanted to include this hardware here as well because I love it so much. Those Starburst pulls were another Pinterest find by me, and Amy Hirsh picked those Rejuvenation Bowman pulls to coordinate with them.
