HEAD GEAR

by Michelle

Hair accessories are huge right now and have been for the last few years. The last time headbands were this ubiquitous was back when I was a junior associate at a New York law firm, and Gossip Girl was the It Show. And while headbands are back in a huge way — in part thanks to Lele Sadoughi turban headbands and knotted headbands in general — there’s so much diversity in the head game this time around.

I’m personally not a huge fan of spending more than a few bucks on hair accessories. They get misplaced in my house pretty easily. And, there are so may great options are super affordable prices. Below are my favorite places to shop for inexpensive items.

H&M

H&M is killing it right now with the inexpensive hair accessories. So much diversity at a great price point. I’m stocking up.

Zara

Zara is my go-to place for inexpensive, trendy hair items. Right now there isn’t a huge inventory as they’re getting rid of sale stuff before adding items to the new collection, but below are some of my favorites currently available.

JCrew

JCrew has always been a great place for hair accessories. I’m loving how diverse the options are right now, but all have that classically-JCrew style. I’m listing their current prices below, but some are on further sale with promo code.

Target

Target tells me that I need hair accessories whenever I visit. I think the Wild Fable by Target and the Sincerely Jules by Scunci lines are great for very inexpensive hair accessories. I really love that oversized organza scrunchie, and I have the pearl barrette and velvet scrunchies I’ve added below.

Amazon

Amazon is where are go for the super cheap stuff that I get for my daughter, then steal from time to time. There’s so much available in the Amazon universe, so below are the items I’ve actually purchased.

Happy Shopping!
