Sustainable Fashion: Onitsuka Tiger

by Michelle

I’m a fan of sustainability, and particularly sustainability in fashion. Let’s be honest: fashion and the like can be a bit frivolous, so making sure that your choices minimize environmental impact is a way to make yourself feel AND look good in your purchases.

I fell in love this pair of Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico 66 sneakers, but what made me pull the trigger is that the sneakers are also environmentally friendly. The uppers feature re-formed cow leather fibers that would usually be thrown away. The surface uses recycled leather with a special coating. In addition, the shoes feature recycled polyester shoelaces and organic cotton in the sock linings. The price: $100
